Authentic Antiqued Brass Lantern

This is a glass four sided lantern with an ogee curved dome top and a base that tapers to a ball finial with an antique brass finish. It has a mirrored interior back. This was done from the earliest times to double the illumination provided by the candlelight. The front door swings open and closes with an exterior latch. There is an interior support to hold a candle, either wax or battery operated. This is an authentic non-electrified lantern salvaged from Brazil. More details...
