These pewter napkin rings with red sponge coral are “table art” designed by artist Michael Michaud and sold as a set of four (4). Celebrate your feast with this nature treat! This rambling, woody vine grows wild in the eastern and central United States and bears orange autumn fruit that, when ripe, bursts open to reveal a brilliant reddish berry. It recalls crisp autumn weather and trips to the country where it is found festooning shrubs or scrambling over old fences and stonewalls. Made in the USA. Michael Michaud Artist Michael Michaud was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Westport, Connecticut. He now resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with his wife Tricia. Starting as an apprentice mold cutter in 1973, Michael soon became a master precious metal caster and moldmaker. In 1976, seeking even more knowledge, Michael moved on to the Rochester Institute of Technology’s prestigious School for American Craftsmen. While studying under esteemed designers Hans Christenson and Gary Griffin, he mastered many of the techniques he uses today to capture the beauty and exquisite detail of nature in metal. Combining his love of nature and exceptional knowledge of precious metal casting and model making, Michael has created wonderful tabletop and giftware items. His exquisite use of layering colors of gold, silver and copper on bronze and pewter, give the Table Art collection an elegant and unique look all its own. “Nature’s creations are the ultimate Art that fills our hearts with joy, warms our souls with promise and fuels our spirits with desire. My true inspiration to reflect this beauty is what my Art is all about.”
