This piece is made entirely by hand by skillful metalware artisans in the outskirts of Mexico City. Each piece is made one at a time, using the ancient art of sand casting, by pouring a premium quality alloy of molten aluminum into sand molds, and then going thru four different levels of polishing. More than twelve different sets of hands are involved in the creation of each piece, and the result of this intensely handmade process is a piece with a depth of character, warmth and personality that communicates in a way that only a handmade piece can. The hardworking metal reflects the shine of silver, but requires no polishing. It goes from refrigerator, to oven, to table, and is perfectly suited for today’s casual lifestyles. In addition, this piece is individually wrapped in a durable, custom fit grey pouch that protects and adds value to it. A Care Card is included with product & care information. Care Instructions: Handwash, no dishwasher. Do not store food, or leave in standing water. Avoid cutting on surface.
