This necklace from the New York City collection is a combination of golds and creams embellished with artful cabochons, bohemian and crystal beads and anything that stimulates the creation. It is fit for an evening on the town, perhaps a broadway show with golden lights welcoming your presence. It can also be worn with a pair of jeans and an oxford button down shirt. It is so versatile that you will find endless occasions to wear this beautiful piece. In addition, it is so light around you neck that you can wear it for hours. The leather backing is so smooth to the touch. What makes this piece even more versatile is the way it closes. There is no metal clasp. It closes like a button a shirt. One side of the necklace has multiple bead buttons that will unite with the other side of cords and material sewn together with small openings to fit around that button. This allows you to adjust the length of the necklace. See additional pictures for samples of two-hole and three-hole closures. Please note the pictures are not of this necklace for sale. It is COLOR - TEXTURE - COUTURE!! Please call Pringle and Zimring to special order the complete look of earrings, necklaces and bracelets. To complement the jewelry, the Collection offers unique elegant bags, belts, brooches and rings. Dori Csengeri Dori is a textile designer by profession. She graduated from the "Shenkar" College of Fashion in Tel-Aviv, specialized in fabric design at Tootal Fabrics in Manchester, England and at Cyril Kowalevsky's studio in Paris, and practiced as a freelance textile designer, in Israel and abroad. Dori studied History of Art at Zurich University and painting at the Academie de Port-Royal in Paris. While living in Paris, Dori started creating an original line of jewelry and fashion accessories, made in a needle work technique that is similar to the traditional "passementrie". Back home, she set up her design studio in Tel-Aviv, some twenty years ago. From here on, Dori developed and expanded her line of accessories and jewelry with an original, fashion oriented, but personal touch. Dori's creations, referred to by some as "Modern Decadence", present scene stealing pieces as well as classic designs. The collection is made in small, often changing series and includes one-off and limited edition creations. Drawing on her background and experience in fashion and textile design, an important part of the studio's work consists of accessorizing fashion designers' collections and shows. “Each piece of jewelry, as all my other creations, are born from my heart, my love to colors and the long tradition of Hand Embroidery and Textile Design. The way I put together the silk cords side by side, with beads, stones, and other material, is my persona language. Exploring texture, color and movement are essential ingredients in my creation and my expression as an artist”, says Dori.
