This ornament was produced by artisan groups that are members of the Fair Trade Federation and World Fair Trade Organization to ensure low-income artisans are moving towards economic self-sufficiency and truly being helped out of poverty. Additionally, it was produced with a commitment to use locally sourced materials and to incorporate recycled components. Since this is hand made and not produced in a factory, there is minimal environmental impact.
