ABOUT THE ARTIST: Carole Nevin is an artist who creates beautiful hand painted textiles, from tablecloths and table runners to cushions covers, aprons and other kitchen accessories. She is assisted with previously disadvantaged and unemployed individuals many from local informal settlements in Cape Town, South Africa. She offers them work and training and in the end all become one happy family.
