This is more than just a book. Each fairytale story is a board book with a built-in drawer or box which holds 7 cardboard stand-up characters, scenery, and props. You can have your child act out the story while they read or are read to. It’s like a mini puppet theater. Talk about bringing a story to life! This classic children's song is presented in a 6" board book with charming illustrations of Old MacDonald, along with his pig, horse, duck, cow and sheep. Attached to the front of the book is a barn-shaped box--complete with a door and two "peek-inside" acetate windows. Inside the barn are thick, cardboard cutouts of the animals and Old MacDonald which can stand up by themselves when you put their easy-to-fit-in notched bottoms into cardboard bases.
